Palm Treo Touch Screen

The touch screen will not take any comands. The lights are on and if I touch the screen nothing happens.

I have the same problem. It power off after being on for a certain amount of time. Once I power up, my touch screen does nothing nor will it hotsync and I can not turn it off at all. Can it be reset some kind of way without losing the information

Try running a piece of paper around the edge of the screen. There may be was something stuck in there, pressing the screen slightly and causing it to not respond to the stylus

Try recalibrating the touch screen. Devices with touch screens need to be recalibrated in order to respond properly. The greater the use, the more often recalibration is necessary. I recalibrate my phone once a week. I hope this helps.

it sounds like it could be a warrenty issue, if you have restoreed the device and its still not working then you would need to get it repaired or replaced

TREO Screen freeze?

Have you reset the unit by taking the battery out? Power it up after doing so, just like a home PC - it should work again.

If that does not work, the touch screen driver may need updating...
