If the joystick is up take it apart and clean it. If its in the center and on the game the person is moVing forward then turn off your console and leaVe the joystick and don't touch it leaVe it on the floor and turn the console on

PC twin shock gamepad

Switch your gamepad to 'analog' mode by pressing small button 'MODE' at the center. Light under that button should turn red (indicating analogue mode) from green (indicating digital mode).

My left joystick keeps moving things down without me moving it

Sometimes your joystick on xbox controllers can become stuck. To fix this you can do one of two things. you can ether buy a can of air used to clean out computer keyboards and spray it inside the analog stick. Sometimes if that does not work you can also disassemble your controller with a t8 torc screwdriver. Ones disassembled use hot water on and below the analog stick to get rid of unwanted grim. This should fix the problem.

Wireless controller is constantly moving down

One of two things. First, when you turn on the power, do not have anything pressing against the joysticks. It will sometimes cause the problems you are describing. If that is not the case, I would assume you got something stuck under it or spilt something on it. Good luck.

Two broken wireless controllers to make one good?

Not hard the controllers wireless are all the same. You need a special tool a t8 torq tamper tool go on ebay they have them cheap with that you will be able to swap parts. remember there is one hidden screw in the lower center of the controller under the serial number sticker

Right Joystick. . .

I had this same problem with my 360 controller (after modding it, but the solution should be the same..) If you pull up on any 360 joystick it will stick the same way.

The quickest fix would be to take some sandpaper on the inside of where the joystick touches the controller shell, sand it down just enough so the joystick is moving smoothly.

More professional ways would be to cut the little piece of metal that sticks out and goes into the joystick. Just a very small amount, too much will make it hard to press the right thumbstick button.
You could also try some old fashioned grease, just a little bit on the inside, nothing noticeable from the outside.

Also make sure the controller is put back together right, I've taken apart many 360 controllers and sometimes joysticks stick when there's a wire in the wrong place and the shell won't close all the way. (The rumble motors particularly).
Hope this helped!
