I had the same problem with my Maytag Microwave. All I had to do was unplug it and plug it back in to fix. Good luck.

Timer counts down very fast

The keypad control board will need to be replaced, bare in mind the cost for the part will exceed the price of a new microwave oven in some cases.

Timer runs super fast, I dont think its heating at all. set for one hour, takes only a few seconds to run. Owned since 2003

I have a Maytag that did the same thing. I unplugged it for about 2 minutes, plugged it back in and it is working fine.

Our microwave is not heating and the turntable is also not working. When I try to cook something the timer starts counting down but nothing else happens.

Microwave timer counts down super fast

try unplugging it for about 15 minutes. if that doesnt work, you might as well get a new one. i fix everything myself for just the cost of parts and i have found that what parts cost for a microwaves, its cheaper just to buy a new one.

Time count down on microwave oven

Unplug the Micro for about 5 minutes and plug it back in this will reset the board,it may have picked up interference from other electronics. If the issue continues have a technician look at it.

Timer runs fast, plus no heat Maytag MMV1153BAW

No... you are not in a microwave induced time warp...
Your microwave oven needs a "reboot". The same thing happened to me.
Unplug your microwave oven, wait about a minute (more or less), plug it back in. Try setting/running your kitchen timer, boil water, etc. Your timer software on the microwave should be reset.

Timer descends very quickly

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

The timer is running fast. It counts down 1 min in 5 sec. Clock and other functions appear to be working ok.

The unit is set in demo mode, Check your owners manual for instructions to get back into regular mode.
