Freezer is working good but the frige is 52

The fridge gets its cold air from the freezer through a vent(damper) between the freezer and fridge. The fan in the freezer blows air through it. There is a flap you adjust with the fridge temp. control. Make sure it's opening and closing when you adjust the fridge temp .
OR
.
If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

Frige freezing solid

If the evaporator coils behind the back panel of the freezer are icing up because of auto defrost failure that will stop the circulation of cold air and eventually affect the freezer too.

check defrost timer, defrost heater, defrost thermostat. In most newer models the timer has been replaced by an electronic control board. If the heater and thermostat are ok it’ll be the control.

Water pressure

If you have a water filter, the filter might be too old and plugged. If you've replaced the filter or don't have one, I would check the water supply to the frige. You might have a kinked line. Also if you used a self piercing saddle valve on your plumbing supply it may be blocked. You would need to turn the water off to the house and replace it with a saddle valve that would require you to drill a hole in the water supply line. Also most friges have a tank in the frige to keep the water cold. If the frige is too cold it could freeze the tank. The average frige temp should be 35-36 deg.

Ice maker and frige

A COMMON FAILURE FOR THE WHIRLPOOL REFRIGERATORS THAT CAUSE NO COOLING IN THE FREEZER IS A BAD RELAY ON THE COMPRESSOR.
LISTEN CLOSELY FOR ABOUT 5 MINUTES TO THE BACK OF THE REFRIGERATOR. IF YOU HEAR A CLICK AND THE COMPRESSOR HUMS AND THEN CLICKS AGAIN AND SHUTS OFF THE COMPRESSOR, THE RELAY IS MOST LIKELY BAD. ABOUT A 40 DOLLAR COMPONENT.
ALSO, CHECK THE FREEZER BACK WALL. IF IT IS FROSTED UP, THERE IS A FAILURE OF THE DEFROST CYCLE. YOU WOULD HAVE TO CHECK THREE COMPONENTS. THE DEFROST CONTROL, HEATER, AND BI-METAL.

Frige problem

This is almost a word for word common problem. On frost free fridge freezers of this type all cooling is generated through the freezer side and is merely forced into the fridge side through airflow. Therefore if you have a problem with the fridge you have a problem with the freezer section. The most likely cause is that the coil is frozen up. We would always suggest defrosting unit overnight in case it was simply a door left ajar being the cause of the fault. If the unit then pulls the fridge temp down and it was not the door ajar then you probably have a defrost problem (heater or defrost thermostat, or defrost timer). If it fails to pull the fridge temp down on restarting then it could be the fan or part of the defrost circuit or even possible the cooling circuit. The normal outcome after defrosting is that the temp will drop in the fridge due to air circulation improved, which will probably remain cool for 2-3 weeks until the coil becomes frozen again. On either result I would contact an engineer on the 2nd failure occurrs so that the engineer can establish the exact cause. Hope this helps.
