I have a honestech TVR Tuner card (Philips SAA7130 TV Tuner/FM Radio/Video PCI Capture) on my *other* computer. I can watch tv no problem, i see stuff, and there's audio. But when i record, i can only record image, no sound. It asking for digital singh and not instaling praperly
What cable connections are you using? HDMI has to be enabled on you motherboard (high def. audio), if its S-Vidio you must run a seperate and dedicated audio cable from headphone jack to TV.
My first gues would be to right click your audio icon on your desktop toolbar and check your playback and recording settings, make sure the tuner card is the source, hope this helps!
On the "Audio Settings" in the Life View software, at the "Audio Input Source" on the drop down arrow, select "None". This settings will use the internal PCI Bus for listening and recording TV. The audio loop back cable in this case is not needed anymore.
Right Click On My Computer (Or Computer For Vista) Open Device Manager, click on the Plus for Universal Serial Bus Controllers and look for Unknown Device. Right Click on that and click uninstall. After you have done that, unplug it then reconnect it. That should work.
