You covered half the equation. Now, contact D-Link for their half. No joke. They are usually available 24/7, and will gladly help you, especially if your d-link product is still under warranty.
Tell them everything, all your settings, and so on, then ask them if they would like to remote into your system for a chance to poke around and see if they can fix this for you.
This is also something that they will happily do, if you invite them in, and that way, you can watch them and learn while they help you fix the problem.

Try a different port or cable. This issue may be one of many things but most are hardware related. Bad crimping on the cable or internally in the cable there may be some disconnections. One way to verify if this in case there are no other cables available is by using a "network cable tester". You may also try another computer or laptop just to make sure. It could also be caused by a bad port. Try using the other ports to make sure.
