I have a Sanyo DS27580 TV that our RCA RCR311w remote had no trouble putting into video mode, but it wouldn't take it out for some reason. I tried all the RCA codes for Sanyo without any help. I tried a GE remote but just got basic functions, then just before buying another I found an old Philips PHDVR8L universal remote and code 506 allowed toggling the video/tv mode. I've tried all the RCA codes for Sanyo I can find but can't repeat the problem so there must have been some other code in the Sanyo that messed things up.

Technika lcd42 207 stuck in burn mode red blue green screen repeating over and over no other functions

Do a hard reset to this set, and check. Unplug the TV from AC wall outlet, and re-plug it back after 20 minutes or so. This must make it a hard reset. If it do not help you, you have to enter its service mode option, to release the burn in mode. To get more details, http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

All Ihaveis blue screen

You need to change the source (original remote) or the input (univeral remote). It needs to be in TV mode - not video.

GOLDSTAR DVD/VIDEO PLAYER

Remove any discs from the unit. Make sure your tv is on the blue screen. It should say "Progressive Scan Mode"....After removing the disc(s) from the disc changer, close the changer, press and hold the stop button on the unit, not the remote, for 5 seconds or more and it will reset to normal playing mode. Progressive Scan is typically only for TVs that use Progressive Scan....most normal TVs do not use progressive scan mode. Hope this helps...It worked for me!!!!
