Gaggia titanium machine, is Ventilate problem connected to leak??

My machine was leaking a little from the hole where the steam pipe comes down from.....it keeps saying ventilate! (I don't know whether there's a hole in the pipe somewhere and it's causing an air lock) when we do get rid of the message the coffee comes through fine but, when you start to froth the coffee you can hear the machine building up the pressure then it just peters out and stops....ventilate appears!

Have de-scaled and made sure that the steam nozzle is clear......forgot to mention that when I de-scaled before, it seemed to leak faster and I had to push a towel round the base so, when I de-scaled this time I kept the door open so that I could see where the water was leaking from. Do I need to replace a part??

Hi, the hot water outletpipe( i don`t know how to say it in english) keeps leaking water. If the machine is heating up, tehe pipe allready starts leaking and keeps doing it. The machine is only 8 months...

Do you mean the "steam wand" ? The pipe you would use to steam milk?
That sounds like the steam valve needs replacing or rebuilding. If the machine is only 8 months old it is still under warranty. You should contact the store where you bought it or contact Gaggia service center in your country.

Ventilate problem on gaggia titanium coffee

You need to push the hot water button on the machines panel to allow water to run out of the steam wand. After a few seconds the machines ventilate message should clear.

What does it mean when the Gaggia Titanium machine tells you to ventilate the hot water as soon as you turn the machine on?

Ventilate by pressing the hot water button and opening the steam tap. Once water flows freely, close the tap.
If problem persists, its likely to be a broken "steam valve cam"

Gaggia Titanium coffee maker leaking water internally from steam tap

What color is the steam manifold? It is located under the black cover with the trough in back under the white tube. If its white or black it probably needs to be replaced. If you cool down the manifold after steaming you can prevent this from happening. Just turn off the steam and then open the knob again to run water. It comes out steam at first but then will turn to a water stream. Then you can close the knob and go about brewing or just let it stand. But its going to have to be replaced.
If it is silver you probably have O-rings that need to be replaced. I would use the black O-rings, not the red. The red ones are a little smaller and can leak.

Can't get rid of ventilate message on titanium plus machine

Try this, after opening hot water valve, push the knob in when it asks for ventilate. If that works then contact your nearest gaggia distrubutor and ask for a new stainless steel steam valve assembly.

Titanium ventilate issues

Remove the milk frother, checked to see if it is blocked.
This can cause the machine not to ventilate correctly.
They tend to block with old hard milk.

Gaggia titanium leaking water underneath

i had this same problem. the solution is simple if you are a little bit handy.
there is a bad valve inside. i called Whole Latte Love where i bought the machine and ordered a Steam Valve complete - Compact Frame
its part number GA-%0345.R and two O-Rings

the valve that comes with the machine is plastic and the new one is a brushed metal casing. my guess it will last for 10 years!

two screws on the back and the machine is open
near the front, by the steam wand, with a hose attached coming from the heater, is the valve, attached to the knob on the side
two more screws and the valve wrapped in a plastic housing comes out.
open the plastic housing, remove the insulated hose to the steam wand and the water/steam plastic hose that comes in. replace the valve, hook up the two hoses, but back in housing and you're done. attach back to knob on the outside, put back together and in 30 minutes, the Titanium is like new. no leaks.

it sounds daunting but is pretty easy and beats sending the machine back for repair. i can't go a morning let alone a month without coffee from my Gaggia. once repaired, the coffee is hotter too.
