So the phone I have is the motorola hint, QA30, actually identical in design (except square, red and black) and I have similar problems, my right navigator (right shoulder) and my up and left buttons, as well as my send button, will randomly stop working, I find (in all seriousness, no joke) that sometimes hitting the phone (lightly of course) seems to get the buttons to work again,
You should have left it dry instead of turning it on, you probably have corrosion now, find a local place that works on phones to see if they'd work on it.
If you want to try to completely dry it, put it in rice for 24 hours minimum to draw out all moisture.
have someone you know who is sort of technically inclined to removed your phone completely apart and leave it apart for 48hrs. if it has caused alot of damage since you have turned it back on (bad idea) you may have torched the transmitter/reciever.
cost for repair.. $180USD
Let it dry for a longer period. As, if the water has gone into the screen area, draining the water is a real issue. If it still doesnt respond, get it to a service station before the condition worsens.
it seems water logged still, you could try drying it out with a hair dryer, don't keep trying to turn it on if its still wet inside, it will eventually blow up the internal circuitry, dry it out properly even if that means removing the outer caseing.
