My samsung yp-k3 touch mp3 just stopped working today. i love this thing it wont charge and let me get music any more. please help.

OK, Here is a free music site. Called Sideload, check it out, hope this works out for you.

You'll need to replace/update your firmware (the software package that makes the player work), and you can do that at the Samsung site here:

*I can't give you the exact page cuz Samsung makes a lot of YP-K3s and that's all you gave me to work with...You'll have to get the rest of the model number from the back of the player and pick it from the list above.

you need media player 11 or newer
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/11/default.aspx

it should work fine instantly with media player 11 installed, just plug it in ones the media player is properly installed (you may need to restart, I don't remember for sure)

and it should work right away with wm11.

instalation usb YP-K3

when bang it on the table one time then turn it back on in like 5 minutes then it should work cuz it happened to me....

poke a pen in the reset button on the bottom back of the player. same thing happened to me.

wmp11 doesn't work properly with this device (see elsewhere in the forums).

suggest you go back to wmp10 or just use windows explorer to drag and drop files onto the samsung.

well have had my k3 die on me once, pressed reset on the back and it worked again (this in the it doing nothing anymore case) as for the cgarging thing try it on another computer, when I charge my k3 at work it charges all day but I don';t get a full battery, at home I charge it for bout 2 to 4 hours to get full battery. I think it has something to do with ho many things u have connected to ur usb ports or how much output ur computer gives to ur usb, maybe it goes to like a lower voltage to preserve electricity, no idea how to change this but unplug unneccecary things.

Maybe you have a USB 1.1 on your computer. YP K3 will charge much faster on USB 2
