I changed the battery in the watch. The watch works fine, however the watch dosn't pick up the pulse from the belt. I know the belt is oK because I have a Polar pickup on my treadmill and it picks pulse up fine from the belt

There are certain batteries that wroks in these units that have a larger capcity with these now if you got that same battery then the watch is in malfuction in respect to it not picking up the pulse. It would be certainly affordable to have it looked at by a jewler in your area about this battery and watch. Besides changing the battery witch should not be a issue and the bad is okay i would have the watch looked at.

VDO x2dw cycle computer, sensor 2 doesn't work

Is the sensor properly spaced from the magnet on the spoke? Will the sensor pick up slow revolutions but not fast ones. Do you know that some of the sensors have two batteries in them, one on the top and one on the bottom, and both need to be changed at the same time?

Polar AXN300 Heart Rate Monitor Watch HRM AXN300 is not showing pulse

I would think it is the sensor circuit in the watch. When you replaced the battery did you activate the processor all reset for the watch? I do not know on your model where or how this would be activated.

Electronic watches normally have a reset procedure for when the battery is changed. Very important the watch's processor reset is performed after changing the battery. This is not any of the user readings reset. This is a reset for the watch's processor and system. It is sometimes a contact that has to be shorted out with the jeweler's screwdriver, or it is a contact that has to be shunted, or etc., depending on the model. Maybe if you call the support for the watch they will tell you this. Normally they do not like the user opening the watch.

Changed the battery and now it won't pick up the heart rate monitor. I know the monitor works because it is picked up by all the equipment in the gym.

If Heart Rate is being displayed on the equipment in the gym, but not your watch, then your chest strap is transmitting fine, but the watch is not recieving the signal.

It is not uncommon that when a battery is changed outside of a polar authorized service center that something can happen to the internal electronics. I would suggest you send the watch into Polar and have them take a look. if you have had the watch less than 2 years they will most likely take it under warranty and correct the issue, at the very least they have equipment to test and diagnose both the watch and strap, although it sounds like your HR strap is fine since you are getting HR on the machines.

T6C failed after working OK for 1 day

Try re-pairing the belt pod with the wrist-watch computer. Below text comes from page 37 of the T6c users manual.

If you replace the belt battery or are having troubles with the signal reception, you need to re-pair your belt with your Suunto t6c.

To re-pair the belt:
1. Remove the belt battery
2. Push the (new) battery into the compartment positive side down.
3. In your Suunto t6c, enter the settings menu and enter GENERAL.
4. Scroll to PAIR with [Lap +] and [Light -] and enter with [Mode].
5. Scroll to HR BELT with [Lap +] and [Light -].
6. Activate pairing with [Mode].
7. Put the battery in with the positive side up and close the cover.

Have an Ebel Men's Watch: Classic Wave Two-Tone Stainless Steel Mens Watch 1255F41.0225. Bought it 2.5 years ago. Now the second hand moves only after each 4 sec. The rest of the watch appears to be...

The really nice thing about your watch is that when you need a battery, the watch gives you a 30 day notice by having the second hand do what I call " a triple step" where the watch keeps time, but youe second hand goes 3-4 steps real fast and then stops. Please take your watch to a reputable watch repairman, because your watch has a Cartier movement , and NOBODY but Cartier has the parts for your watch if somebody who dosn.t know what they are doing messes it up. If you have anymore problems feel free to ask me anytime . I LOVE EBELS!!!!
