Are there cabinet filler kits for jenn-air ranges.To fill the space between lower cabinets on the sides and counter top?

On space: Measure from floor to the cabinet at its lowest part, usually the front face frame of cabinet is lower than bottom of cabinet. Ideally you want a little space between fridge and cabinet. Knowing the height of space, measure refrigerators that are less than that measurement when you measure them from floor to top of fridge including hinge if it is higher than top.

I don't know how to stop the easy turn on of the range, BUT.....

I am a retired Fire and Arson Investigator [25+ years] and you MUST TURN OFF THE GAS TO that appliance UNTIL a QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN can PROPERLY REPAIR IT!!!!!

PLEASE, turn off the gas at the valve below the range. For the Jenn-air, the valve is SUPPOSED to be in the cabinet directly below the unit!

Located on the rear wall of the refrigerator cabinet. Make sure you turn the water off first and unplug the unit.

the microwave is usually not mounted in the cabinet and can be pulled out with a little strength. be careful.

I removed the unit from the cabinet.

Did you ever find a solution to the Jenn Air grease problem? We have the same problem with a grease smell.

This is a straight forward wiring project involving 110 volts of electricity and a 15 amp circuit.

If there is already power available at this location use it. If not, run a wire to the cabinet above the hood location with enough extra to drop down into the hood area and hook it up.

Once you have the power wire in place it is just a matter of hooking the wires up black-black, white-white, ground-ground screw.

enjoy your new hood.

The fan is likely 120-volt fan, and swapping the wire likely put 220 across the fan. Did the fan seem to rev up very fast? The control is also likely 120-volt, and that too had 220 applied to it.
