SynMaster 920BM Poor resolution with Mac

HI,

I recently bought a Samsung SyncMaster 920BM and am having problems with resolution. I have a Macintosh G4 Power PC. All letters are blurry and faded. How can I increase the resolution?

I have the same SyncMaster 920 BM. Since I haven't got a new graphic card, the monitor must be used under analog mode. Similar problem in resolution, shadowing and blurry letters. Tried different combination of coarse and fine settings from the control panel of the monitor - the problem is still there.

Did you use the combination keys of your laptop Fn and either F5, 6, or 7 depends on brand to select internal/external/both? You also need to make sure that the video resolution feeding the monitor is at native resolution setting.

Need Synmaster 216bw driver

Here is the driver download from SAMSUNG website
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_mdl_cd=&prd_mdl_name=216BW&prd_ia_sub_class_cd=P
Just click on the driver, it is the same one as you listed '20070515103345609_SM223BW'
No need to uninstall the old driver, all the driver doese si to allow you to set the resolution that is not listed in the microsoft video resolution lists.

To unlock your monitor, Press and hold the Menu button for 5 - 10 sec. and the OSD menu should be released. Hope this solves your problem. Thanks.

Syncmaster 710N resolution problem

no,
the LCD display don't harm the eyes cause don't spreed radiation.
preferred resolution 1280x1024 at refresh rate of 60Hz is not optimal.
the samsung 710N can easy handle 75Hz at 1280x1024 so just change it.
