The model 3001 does not have a screw down crown, but is just as water resistant as a screw down style

SOURCE: Cant screw in screw-in crown

It's possible you may have stripped the thread or cross-threadded it. If you have a magnifier check the condition of the thread on bothe the inside of the crown and outside of the pendant.

SOURCE: I need spare part for my k3 submarine watch: I

Assuming that these parts are unique to your make of watch, then according to their web site there are no distributors in Austrailia.

If you go to their web site (www.vostok-europe.com/), you will see a map of the world and the countries that have distributors are shown in red.

Your nearest distributor is in Indonisia but you could just a easily order one from an English speaking country (to increase the chances of getting what you want!)

SOURCE: can I swim laps w/ my ebel 30 meter watch? The

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
Water Resistant is a common mark stamped on the back of wrist watches to indicate how well a watch is sealed against ingress of water. It is usually accompanied by an indication of the static test pressure that a sample of newly manufactured watches was exposed to in a leakage test. The test pressure can be indicated either directly in bars, or (more commonly) as an equivalent water depth in meters (in the United States sometimes also in feet).
An indication of the test pressure in terms of water depth does not mean a water resistant watch was designed for repeated long term use in such water depths. For example, a water resistant watch marked at 30 meters depth cannot be expected to withstand activity for longer time periods in a swimming pool, let alone continue to function at 30 meters under water. This is because the test is conducted only once using static pressure on some of the newly manufactured watches. The test for qualifying a diving watch for repeated usage in a given depth includes safety margins to take factors in account like aging of the seals, rapidly changing water pressure and temperature, as well as dynamic mechanical stresses encountered by a watch. Also every diving watch has to be fully tested for water resistance.
Hope this helps.

I have a kirium model cl111a how do you adjust the time please ?

You probably have a screw down crown. Turn the crown counterclockwise and unscrew the crown. Now you should be able to pull it out. When tightening it back down, don't over tighten, just snug. This is to keep moisture out of your watch. Always have it screwed down unless you are setting the watch.

Instruction manual

Tags have a screw down crown (winder knob) turn the knob counter clock-wise until you feel the crown unscrew (not off) then pull the crown carfully. It will pop once this is for date adjust. Then pull once more and you can now adjust the hands, set accordingly then push crown back in. After you push it back in gently compress the crown and tighten clockwise until it stops. CAUTION!!!!!!! Tags are not waterproof if the crown is not screwed back down. I hope this helps .

How to set the date in sector sge 650 2653960035 watch? Thanks.

Unscrew crown. Some models of Sector Sport watches may have a screw down crown. Watches meant to be used in water will often have this feature. To test this try spinning the crown freely in both directions. If it does not spin freely it has a screw down crown. If your Sector has a screw-down crown, turn it in a counter clockwise motion to unscrew it until it pops free.

Pull crown out one click and set date. If the watch has a date perform this step, if not move on to the next step. Pull the crown out one click. Twist crown clockwise and counter clockwise to set the day and date to the previous days day and date. The purpose of this is to set the date by setting the time and insuring the watch is in the correct a.m. and p.m. mode.

Pull crown out to the next click and set time. Pull the crown out the to next click. This is the time setting mode. Set the time by turning the crown clockwise until the day or date changes to the current date. This is the a.m. mode. Continue to the correct time. If it is a p.m. time this will require moving one full circuit of the dial past the twelve again and then to the correct time. If you fail to do this, the date will change at noon. If there is no date, simply set it to the correct time.

Push in and screw down crown to retain water resistance. Push crown down into its furthest setting. If it is a screw-down crown, press the crown in with a finger and twist it clockwise. Be careful here not to cross thread the crown in the crown tube or it will need to be replaced. It should be smooth and easy to turn. If any pressure or resistance is felt stop and start over. If you fail to screw in a screw down crown your Sector Sport watch will not be water resistant.

Im trying to adjust the time because it stopped when i took it off for a day. Im not sure how i can change it because the adjusting knob is not popping out.

mcdevito75 here, Tissot a very, very great name and watch, a you know most stems pull out to set the time, some watches have a screw down crown this adds to it"s waterproofing as there is a gasket under the crown. Maybe your Tissot has this screw down crown, simply un screw the crown then gently pull up on the crown to set the time. If this fails, see any Jewler for help, doN't mess with the watch to much a syou or anyone could wreck it, and Tissot is very expensive.

Just bought an Invicta 8926 can't get the crown to pull position 2 or 3. It is screwed down tight. Is it supposed to be turned counter clockwise to release the crown or is it just supposed to pull out...

Watches vary in design but those that have a high degree of water resistance often screw the crown in.

Try turning the crown anticlockwise before pulling it out.

Screw down crown wont lock

There are only two things that can cause screw down crown to malfunction. First is dirt and second is weakened/damaged thread. In first case you need to use ultrasonic cleaner by immersing the crown AND case to get rid of any dirt and grime sticking on both threads. If the matter is weakened/damaged thread - you will have to fit new crown and (possibly) new case tube on which crown is screwed onto. This can be done by decent watchmaker only.

Screw down crown wont screw down

Either the crown or the case tube threads are stripped. Which ever part is stripped needs to be replaced. Keep in mind that both could be the problem. Be sure you don't get your watch wet until this is fixed. Your watch is NOT sealed for water resistance if the crown does not screw down.

Hope this helps.
