Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,

There are a few buttons to adjust the picture size on different make TVs and even on the Cable/Satellite remotes .
1.Format
2.Aspect
3.Size
4.Zoom
5.Wide
6.#
First look on the TV remote, set it to Full ,Fill or Just or 16 x 9 (whichever your model uses) Samsung uses the P size button ,
Then on the cable/dish Box remote stretch (not zoom) is usually best.
On the box remote set the output resolution to 1080i only
And use 16x9 when if offers a choice.
Cable remotes use the # key as a zoom/size button.
Due to the fact there are 16 size/Formats available (3 or 4 being transmitted now). you may have to hit the zoom/stretch button on some HD channels.
But with these settings the picture will mostly stay full and help you avoid image burn from the edges being not on the edge.
Stretch will fill the screen and allow you to read the bottom.
Make sure you are on the correct input, sometimes TVs are connected on multiple inputs
(not necessary, only the HD input is needed)

If I have helped you with your issue
If you have more questions you can still respond
I will reply asap
Thanks

Vizio P42 HDTV no picture

Try first unplugging power cable for thirty minutes, then plug back, this will drain power from TV completely and will reset it.

See if it works.

Hi, take out the dvd player from port 1 and try the Wii in port 2 or 3 if the picture is good on the wii then you will need to get a 1 way scart lead for the DVD, not a fully populated one as these can cause interference between video inputs.

Hope this helps

I connected my media center PC to my new Sanyo DP50740 50" Plasma Television using the PC input on the back of the television. The instructions say that it supports 1360X768 with a 16:9 aspect ration...

No,13060 resolutions will not support by some tv correctly, will shift whole picture about to 6 inches to the right. That why, must use the PC Control panel to adjust to 1024 for the video to center. For the wide aspect 16:9 ratio, just find another aspect ratio to for expandsion to fit the entire screen.
