U have to install Active sync provided in the softeare cd by asus or u can download active sync 4.5 from net and then u shall be able to connect

just download active sync if you are using windows xp
mobile device center if you are using Vista or windows 7

just move out to a clear area. u may be at a place where there is no signal. Or for a coution restart your device in an open space. U may try reinserting ur SIM for that purpose
