Tip & How-To about Dishwashers

PANASONIC WITH FUZZY SPOTS

FIXYA TIP PANASONIC

I hope this not AN old TIP, but I still see it asked and not answered properly by some.

TIP:

PANASONIC:

MODELS: PT-44LCX65, PT-52LCX15, PT-52LCX65, PT-52LCX35,
PT-61LCX65, PT-61LCX35.

SYMPTOMS:
1. FUZZY SPOTS
2. FUZZY SPOTS WITH STAINS
3. FUZZY SPOTS & UPSIDE DOWN
4.. FUZZY SPOTS WITH LINES
5. LOOK LIKE BAD LIGHT ENGINE.

CORRECTION: SYMPTOMS CAN BE CORRECTED BY EEPROM CORRECTION TOOL; (LSUQ0100).

It is an easy repair (about 7 minutes), it takes longer to take the back off to perform this procedure.

Can't be purchased unless you have an account, customers can not purchase.

Thanks, Big IRISH.

My PT-44LCX65 has been showing numerous color spots recently. In August, I noticed a dark green spot in the top left corner, and also a less visible maroon spot near the center. Today (12/16/2010) I'm noticing a light blue color in the bottom left part of the screen. How can I fix this? My TV is 5 years old...is it still under warranty? It's a shame that a $2,000+ TV is starting to degrade.

THAT IS GOING TO MOST LIKELY BE A PROBLEM WITH THE OPTICAL ENGINE AND PANASONIC HAD SEVERAL MODELS THAT HAD PROBLEMS WITH EEPROM CORRUPTION THERE WAS A RECALL TYPE OF EXTENDED WARRANTY I SUGGEST CALLING PANASONIC THEY WILL SEND SOMEONE OUT TO FIX IT MOST LIKELY FREE OF CHARGE :)

panasonic tv model pt-44lcx65

Howdy,
The problem is with the EEPROM in the TV that needs to be reprogrammed. But you need to have the proper Correction Tool (LSUQ0100).
I don't think it's available to the public. Call a Service Company, but make sure they have the “Correction Tool”.

Thanks for using FIXYA, big IRISH.

computer vga to tv

I'm guessing you've resolved this by now, but, if this is a laptop computer, it is actually a function of the computer that you are looking for and not the TV. Typically there is a key function assigned to directing the display to the laptop only, the tv only, or both simultaneously. On my current laptop it is fn+F8. On my old Dell I think it was ctrl+F8
Hope this helps, sorry so late.
