Lenovo button nor working - Lenovo 3000 C200 Notebook

First of all, just try pressing On/Off button gently from center. If it does not help, please press On/Off button gently from each corner once and check if that buttons comes to its normal position and work.
If issue persists, it is recommended to contact your tablet manufacturer Lenovo Support Center to replace the tablet or repair the On/Off button.

Could be something as simple as dirt under the button, get yourself some electronic switch cleaner and spray under and around the button. Always keep keyboard clean.

Try scanning it with free version of RadarSync (driver updater) so that you will know if the driver is out-of-date. Out-of-date drivers especially the keyboard will cause a lot of problems.

The lenovo care button was built to restore the computer back to the factory state if in any case you will be experiencing software problem with your computer and you want to restore it from the original state. If this button will not function for no reason then then only person that can help you is the Lenovo repair department. You can send in the computer to lenovo depot repair and have them re-image the harddrive so that the Care button will be reinstalled.

Try to use the Lenovo Care buttons this way,

Turn off the pc completely
Use the Lenovo Care button situated just right beside the power button
Press and hold it for 5 seconds
If symptom persist, please call their tech support for possible repair of your pc..

If you upgraded your OS to win vista you need to download lenovo energy management driver for the touch sensitive buttons to work. All you have to do is to go to http://consumersupport.lenovo.com/en/driversdownloads/drivers.html

enter the serial number of your u330 and hit search. Once you're at the drivers and software page for u330, scroll down until you see the category power management. Then download energy magement. Make sure you are downloading the driver that is compatible with your operating system

Dear Arnold,

you need to take your laptop to the Lenovo Authorised service center. As you stay in Delhi there are many service centers of Lenovo. They will charge you for fixing the one touch recovey but you will have to format your harddisk completly and tell them how much space you need for c drive and the rest will be occupied by d drive.

note: please take your back up of c as well as d drive. lenovo is not responsible for the backup.
