I need to change my default Download driver to the D drive as my C drive is always full, I've tried to move some of the programs from the C drive to the D drive but it says that some of the files may not work afterwards, I try to override it but that screen keeps popping up and won't let me do anything except cancel

Hi, your c drive is full, you can move free space of your D drive to your C drive with third party program like AOMEI Partition Assistant, an all-in-one and easy to use hard disk management software. http://www.disk-partition.com/help/allocate-free-space.html

Try the disk cleanup in the disk properties (right click the disk icon).
You can really free up a lot of space by deleting temp files, memory dump files and all restore point but the last. The last thing you only want to do if your system is running stable of course.
Also make sure to defrag after disk cleanup to maximize the efficient use of the free space.

Driver no longer installed , not sure what happened what can i do

This is a great program I've recently discovered.

http://drp.su/download.htm

Drivers Solutions Pack.
There is a Lite version, a Full version, and in the middle of the page,
We Recommend: Download Driver Utilities to Update Drivers

If you're not familiar with CD Burning, I'd reccomend the Driver Utilities program too.

It's all free. Only problem I've had is with Dell Integrated Sound Driver, which they don't seem to be able to fix.

How to speed up pc applications

If it's almost full and you've been moving stuff to an external, sounds like you really need a bigger hard drive.

You've only got three options:
1) Buy a bigger hard drive
2) Move stuff to the external then delete it off the laptop
3) Delete things off the laptop such as programs you don't use and files .
Make sure you empty your recycle bin, it can hold a lot of junk

I have an error message that says: Error wile trying to synchronize Audio and MIDI Sample Rate 38441 reciognized. Check conflict between GarageBand and external device. Any suggestions?

what you need is a "FULL DUPLEX ASIO DRIVE",which you get with programs like cubase sx, this is like a universal driver which has always synced any audio equipment i've hooked up to my computer, internal & external.make sure it's the full duplex & not the asio4all v2.
But really you shouldn't be having much trouble if your using a USB midi interface.unless your computers sound card is ****.
try resetting the sound cards sample rate to 44100HZ which is the standard rate for most audio,or 48000HZ for digital.

Suddenly I can't turn up the volume. I can hear it but it's so soft I have to turn my laptop's volume up all the way. When I click on the little speaker icon (in between the - and +) it says, "speaker...

To change the volume there are 2 sliders not just 1. It s the master volume (the one u are moving) and the Wave Volume or "Application" as Vista likes to call it..

Right Click your volume icon > Open Volume Mixer > Turn the other Slider (aplications) to max.
That should do it..

It went down because some programs (most actually) internally use the Application volume, so when u switch the volume inside the program THAT slider moves.. not the master one. And it doesn t always come back to the point where it was after u leave the game/program..

C drive full 1 gb left acer aspire 5630 laptop vista operating sy

Hello Kayleen,

To answer your questions:

can i move my documents to the d drive by default

You can do that yes. However its a case of HOW you want to move them.
If you are wanting to SAVE NEW documents then you simply point the application to the d drive and it will always default to that area when you next want to save.

But for moving documents that are already there on c drive you must do that yourself. If you use Windows Explorer or Norton Commander etc etc you just have to open the drive up....goto where your files are....and then simply copy (or drag them) to the place on your d drive.

will itunes send the library by default if i do this

Again, its a question of next time you save your tunes just point the download at your d drive and it will remember.

One other thing.....

I dont use itunes software but I would like to bet that there is some function in one of its menus that lets you set the default download area. So best check your software too to see if you can set it up within it.

Good Luck.

Where can I find a disk to program my printer to my computer

You can find the disk from HP store but the best way would be click on this link
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&os=228&product=441125&lang=en&

Select the Windows Version of your computer (Win XP Or Vista )

After clicking on your windows version you will be re-directed to a new download page ,on that page you will find first entry as
s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif s.gif » HP Full Feature Software and Drivers Download and save the drivers. Once the download is complete you can burn it on the CD. Or you can copy them to an external USB drive if you want.
Downloading drivers from the manufacturer's webiste is always recommended as you get the most updated and authentic drivers for you device. In our case it's HP.
