3com 3crwdr100a-72 how do I reset the router

To reset this correctly you need it connected to a computer and the internet.look on the back or underneath for the main label.on it should be the numbers 192.168.0.1 then user:admin. Pass: admin.
sometimes it's different to this.if 192.168.0.1 does not get you to the routers server then it could be 192.168.1.1
once you are there you can reset it online and re enter the settings for security settings etc.
if you press the reset on the router you will end up having to reconfigure using the above method anyway.

Connect your router to computer with ethernet cable then you can access it with following default link. http://192.168.1.1 or http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.15.1 or http://192.168.2.1 If you are not able to access it with above ip then check your computers ip address gateway ip is your router ip try with it. Then it ask for user name and password. Type user as "admin" and password as "admin" or "password" or blank. Then you can see configuration page of router. If you are still not able to access router with above ip then you need to RESET it for that press RESET button for 10 seconds it is in back side of router then all settings defaults..Then you can access it with above method. . Then click on wireless->wireless security->WEP security there is code password note down it or enter new password then save setting s and restart router. then you can connect wireless with new password. Then go to the Menu Screen and select Reset to Factory Defaults.
When to change the rouer's wireless settings then you will also need to apply these changes to your wireless card in the computer so it can connect to the 3Com router.

Just find the "reset" button that can be pressed by paperslip and this will reset router back to factory settings

You have to configure the WDS on the 3comm, configuring it to the MAC ADRESS of the BT router (if it is wireless), if not connect it by ethernet and set the 3comm as WDS allowing the other 3 more u want to add as acepted MAC ADRESS for access points.
