Need User Manual for Ariston Margherita 2000 AB 40 Washing Machine. I can not understand what is the knob for, which is located on the front panel at the left side of the main knob.

i have ariston marghrita 2000 AB 63 it does not clean cloths and does not dry cloths.whenever i takeout cloths they are so wet that water drops out of these cloths. pl tell me what shall be position of different buttons and knob when i wash wash cotton/tetron mix cloths
According to the instruction book - it appears the machine has been stopped mid cycle then re-started. Switch machine off, turn control knob to a solid circle symbol (they are after every set cycle). Switch machine back on and lights will flash and program is reset. You can then select wash cycle as normal.
To start ensure that machine is well balanced, and that the load is well distributed inside the drum.
If the problem is not balancing, then the most common is a broken drum bearing spider or a bad drum bearing. A symptom of drum bearing problems is the drum having excessive play when you spin by hand. Also struts and springs must be checked.
turn the wash temperature dial to zero,
if it starts to wash it could be a faulty thermostat,
if that wont wont work it could need new brushes in the motor
To clean filter, remove the lower plastic panel at front of washer.
Unscrew the pump filter cover anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
