If you are using Win XP on Compaq laptop then you can access the webcam from my computer. In Win Vista or Win 7 you have to install the software for web cam then you are able to use the web cam.Please download the web cam software from hp web site for particular Compaq model you are using.
Hi. actually for presario c700, web cam driver is auto install in windows XP, Vista or 7. you only need install web cam software to take picture from your web cam on presario c700 webcam, Youcam software is need to make this action. but if u only use your cam for online. skype or ym issufficientforitto function
