Green tint in the color on my big screen tv

Tv have a problems known as a picture convergence problems,it is dead.If the tv have any colors lines R,G,B mis alignments,have colors shadows pictures or 3D pictures look alike?Yes,then the tv convergence board it is dead,the tv convergence board must have replaced like 2 STK convergence ICS and some or all of resistors replaced too.To fixed the tv convergence board to solved tv convergence pictures problems.The tvs Shops will cost u like $300-350 for parts and lobors.

It is a type of transformer if you open up yout tv you can find it easily by the big cord comming out of the top.

This is for the 50" Vizio TV,

It sound like the control board has a problem. There is two way to fix this.

- Upgrade the firmware of the control board, If you can find the firmware upgrade device.
- Replace the control board (I think this the best solution)

Have a orange tint over tv screen

it should have a year warranty get it in for warranty repair before the warranty runs out or someone tells you the wrong thing to go and the tv ends up as a big paperweight...

adjust the blue bias on the high voltage block .
it has focus and bias for all three colors

I encountered the same problem with a color computer monitor several years ago. Everything went green. The repair techies told me that's a sign that the power supply is going bad. You will not be able to adjust the color. You will have to either fix it or replace it. Hope this isn't a common problem with this model Samsung TV.

Take time to get used to the settings, you may think the screen looks dull at first. The truth is most people have way too much contrast on their TVs.

do you have a service manual for this tv because it may be your red drive circuit and you need to trouble shoot it if you don't have a service manual for your tv I will post a link where you can get one plus free online tech support to help you troubleshoot this problem

try turning up the blue drive alittle see if that helps.
