I put the camera out on Monday and return the following Monday and the battery life has gone from 99% to 41% with no pictures or very few pictures or pictures that are white.
I have used these cameras for years and I too get the occasional white out. Never has been a major problem or one that happns over and over. The other posts might be able to help you with this. The battery issue can be a number of things. I have found that not all 6v batteries are the same. Some work great from day one and some **** the first time you use them. 1-2 years worth of use is all I usually get out them before thy start loosing charge too quick. The weather also plays a big part in how long they last. Always put them camera in some kind of shade and out of direct sunlight. The heat and sun seem to drain a battery faster than using the flash. I just relocated a camera a few weeks ago that I was only getting about 100 photos out of a charge and now that I have it in total shade I have been getting an average of 400 . I just pulled the disk this weekend and had 837 photos. Pay attention to your batteries and if one does not seem to work get rid of it and keep the camera in the shade and I bet you will have better luck
I had a similar problem...the daytime pictures were white but the night pictures were perfect. I corrected the problem by cleaning the flash sensor lens...the camera now works great!
I glued a small peice of plastic under the flash and above the camera lens to shade it from the flash when it goes off. I then only had 2 pictures out of 40 that showed a white picture. The plastic peice only sticks out about 1 inch and didn't affect the flash on the subject. I also drilled holes in the bottom and hooked up a 6 volt tractor battery to it this gave me over 1 month of battery life with another identical camera

takes no pictuers with tracks all around it. when it does take a picture it is usualy just a white blur. I have tried diffrent cards that work fine in my camera and have no sucess with my digital camera it used to take good pictures. It is two years old maybe that is all the life that can be expected I have even stood infront of it to take my own picture at 20 feet and have the same result
