Oven does not start. checked owner's manual. Still does not start. The control panel works and does not display a problem code. The broiler and top burners work. Ideas?

Hi

You must check the main power wires where they enter the range at the T-block, sometimes they can burn off. Also check house fuses (or breaker) that supplies power to the range. Checking with a volt meter, you should get 240 volts between the black and red main power wires. The range receptacle and power cord can also burn and fail. Also check the fuse/circuit breaker and check to see if power is getting to the range/oven. If anything does not turn on then check for a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. Often the main wiring connection from the house, at the range/oven, gets burned and so breaks the connection. Then you may have to replace the power cord to the range/oven, and the terminal block that the wire is attached to. There may be a broken or burned wire at the back of the range/oven. If you repair any of the wires, use only proper appliance-grade wire and wire connectors.

Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks

Temp display shows 444

If everything on your B1691N0GB oven seems to be working, i.e. all the lights are on and fan comes on in fan oven setting, but there is no heat from fan oven, conventional oven or grill, try turning your oven off at the mains, then turn on again. If the temperature display then shows 444, your oven is locked. To unlock, make sure the central control knob is in the "out" position, then press the fan oven and light buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds or so, until 333 appears on the display. Your oven is now unlocked.

Wont' heat in broil or bake

check incoming electric first, pull it out and gain access to main wire terminal, With multimeter set to at least 250v AC , check your power across the wiring as such. black to white (110v), red to white(110v) and then black to red 230v. if that ok ok turn, then start ckin elements for continuty also there might be a thermostat( usually an 1 in. round component with 2 wires located right inbetween the elements that has gone bad, will show no continuity. ck that before electronic control the fact that its clickin sounds like the relays are workin properly

My oven is beeping!

Try turning it off at the mains, then whilst turning it on, press and hold the cancel button.
Check the fuse and any other electrics on the same ring; eg. Washing Machine - this can indicate that the circuit breaker has tripped, replace any fuses and check integrity of electric on that circut, then flick it back on.

Display doesn't work, but oven works

First turn the electricity off by locating the breaker to the oven and turn it off. Now wait for an hour or so and turn the breaker back on, if the display turned back on, you need a control board (other manufatures call it a clock, PCB or ECC but it's the main elctronic board with the diaplay built in). If it didn't come back on, turn the power off again and make sure all the wire harness's going to the board are connected good. Turn the power back on and it the display still doesn;t come back on you need to replace the main electronic control board. By the way double check the model number and brand because it might be wrong. Please post back.

No display

There is a safety thermostat located in the back side of this oven. When looking at the oven, from the back side, it will be located on the right side. I have a part number of 318003613. Good luck.
