Coffee maker beeping

My Cuisinart grind and brew coffee maker stopped working. When I plug the machine in (after leaving it unplugged for over an hour to clear all memory) nothing happens....there are no lights coming on. When I push the ON button, the coffee maker starts beeping and the ON button will not stay on. When I push the program button, it will not stay lit.

The 4-6 cup light and the 'no grind' light do come on when they are pushed, with no beeping occurring.

When the machine first started acting up, the program light would come on and blink....with no beeping. The beeping just began a day or two after the maching stopped working.

Help!

Here's a follow up on my problem. It seems to have simply fixed itself!

The last person who used the coffee maker apparently tried pouring water OUT of the machine, and said that they may have gotten water in other parts of it. Looks like that was a correct assumption.

After leaving the machine unplugged for a week or two, I just plugged it back in and everything seems to be working fine.

But, in the meantime, the person who turned it upside down went out and bought a new coffee maker...same model but this year's....so now I guess I have a back up.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help!

Looks like we're in the same boat. Have had mine for years with no glitch. This morning, it beeps as if something is not closed or put in right, but continues after everything is repositioned and double-checked. I left it off for it to reset completely and am looking to see if there is a reset button of sorts, but no luck. Grind Off button will stay lit, but the moment I turn the "on" button on - it beeps relentlessly. Any clues?

Is your grinder in and the lid down? My coffee maker (grind & brew) started beeping after I cleaned it and turned the left knob clockwise with the grinder still disassembled. There's a little button that is depressed when you close the lid with the grinder in there (I'd guess it's a safety feature). I pressed down that button, and the beeping went away.

My unit stopped working entirely. The grinder wouldn't work, and water was not being siphoned from the reservoir. I took off the top coffee been holder and emptied the coffee beans into a bowl. I pulled the filter out and put a new one in. Refilled didn't work. I turned my unit upset down to drain the water out of the coffee maker. The I fill the reservoir with vinegar and turned off the grinder and tried to get it to work. Nope it kept beeping. Then I opened the up the swing door, positioned the lid above where the grounds go, closed the door. Turned off the grinder, and Just held the on button in for a few minutes. Pot shot, but it worked. I was able to get the coffee maker to drink the vinegar and clean out the innards. Its working very well again and no longer beeping.

Same problem . Sent my first machine back (less than 1 year old, you pay shipping and handling both ends) and now after 4 months, same issue. Not sure what to do.

Replacement time. a certain percentage of thse have this problem. There is a small, non-replaceable tube in the inside toward the bottom that has become melted/damaged.

SOURCE: Leaking cuisinart grind and brew

Our Cuisinart grind and brew was leaving a puddle under it after making a pot of coffee. I called Cuisinart this week and it turns out the handle of the carafe has to be lined up in the middle of the opening for the carafe. It will be under the word Cuisinart, in the middle.

We have now made several pots with NO residual puddle of water or coffee. It also seems to be making the pots quicker.

Before trying this I had run 2 pots of water with 1/2 cup white vinegar in it also. But it still puddled until we lined up the carafe as noted above.

SOURCE: My Cuisinart 10 cup Grind & Brew does not

you need to run a few pots of straight white vinegar through the machine to clean out the lime build up in the tubes. the first time you do it, after it starts to pump the water, shut it off for a few hours and let the vinegar sit in the tubes. after doing this run a few pots of cold water through before making coffee.

Cuisinart Grind and Brew 10 Cup Coffee Maker's on/off light is blinking and cant get it to start

Hello. Please check to make sure the grinder is assembled properly and the lid is completely closed and snaps shut.If all this isn't right it will make a beeping sound. If that doesn't help unplug it for a few minutes and start over with the time setting etc. If you dont have a manual you can download one at www.cuisinart.com.

Won't stop beeping

Every part must be snuggly in place.  I took the removable parts out and put them back a second time, and that did the trick.  I must not have had everything in 'just right'.

DGB-300 10 cup grind and brew

The constant beeping means that something is out of place. Take apart the coffeemaker parts completely and put them back in their proper place (don't forget to close the lid). The beep should stop. If it doesn't stop, unplug the unit for one hour and call Cuisinart to see if it is still in warranty.
