Serial No I bought a new Video safe Video capture device . I have been provided a Pro pix DVD software in the package . But when i try to install the same , it says that it is a demo version and asks me to provide the serial number . Why has the new hardware been packaged with a demo version . How do I get the serial number and reister the software and make full use of the video capture device ? Please advice . Regards , guruprasad

    I too can not find the serial number. This is a big problem. Have hardware/software and can not use it. Does anyone have a working serial number? Contacted the company that bought out Zio but the phone is always tied up and no response from email.

ProPix DVD is no longer supported, and Zio, the company that made it, is no longer in business.

Try this serial code for version 1.2:
PPW-F543-8D28-F731-3446

..and if that doesn't work, try this for version 2.1:
PPW-F550-1BC7-F7CA-98B6

insert the cd and follow the instructions .. if the software isnt installing correctly then there could be a system requirement issue or registry problem

Most software vendors will be able to provide a reinstallation key if yu can provide them with a proof of purchase. As you bought this some time ago this may be difficult. Do you have it installed and need the key for reference or a second installation (assuming you have enough licenses)? Cant install cd
Please
1.try to copy the contents from the DVD to your hdd and try to install from there.
2.Try to use any software like Nero and try to extract the image file from the DVD and try to re burn the extracted image to a new DVD and run.
3.try to right click on the setup.exe file and run as an administrator.
4.if all this dosenot work try contact the supplier whom you bought the DVD and let him provide you another copy.

I have not had problems using the VC600 with Windows 7 32-bit or 7 64-bit. If you have problems installing the drivers for the device, either have windows search for updates or install the drivers manually within Device Manager by doing an Update Software on the unknown devices and use the XP 64-bit drivers on the disc. If you still have problems with the device, I would contact the manufacturer's Technical Support center to see if they can help you out with the install.
