Your battery may be too flat and the electric clutch steals too much power and the ignition fades. Check the battery has water above the top of the plates, and try charging with mains powered charger overnight. Take great care to have the polartiy right, red to positive and black to negative. Do not touch any part of the metal frame with the clips as this can do damage or start a fire.

It is not required to use a charger for charging the NWZ-E438F Walkman Player. You can connect the Player to the Computer using the USB cable for charging the Walkman Player. The charger is not supplied with the Player, however you can purchase the portable charger for the Player.

I'm gonna bet the output is AC because there is no rectifier circuitry between the transformer and the timer assembly. The lighting this is supposed to power does not require DC so why put in the circuitry if it is not needed. So more than likely it is 12V ac

I got this off amazon.com i think it is the correct one, also went on black&decker to find the user manual, attached links.... the batteries on these things don't last long though good luck.

you need to check the amps before you can use it.Remember that power varies with different amps.

Although the MotoMasters are quite popular and are excellent products in most folk's opinions, parts are quite difficult to find. Complete units are in abundance.

Your charger doesn't have to be branded MotoMaster. And charger of approximately 500 to 750 mA and approximately 14 volts will work nicely.

From time to time Canadian Tire have some parts or open box sales. You might check with them. Hope this helps!

i lost mine to couldn't fined one so i found a 12v dc 1.2amp with a + tip that was on a little portable tv,it works just fine
