Lastnight our monitor 441 heater went out. Our kerosene tank is full. We turned it back on, the ignighter will ignite and it will run for a little while then it will kick off again. Hardware store says it is carbon build up, or trash in the line. Please help any suggestions as it is 13 degrees and we need some heat!!!

It could be carbon buildup, or it could be the oxygen depletion sensor that turns the unit off for your safety if the oxygen levels in the dwelling drop too low.

Try placing the unit hear a window with the window cracked open. Fire it up and see if it behaves differently. Fossil fuel space heaters can be dangerous in very cold weather because they consume large amounts of oxygen and can cause carbon monoxide poisoning - be careful.

A window should always be kept cracked in the are where the heater is operated.

It starts up good then stops and a big cloud of smoke comes out. Got a new ignighter (50$) but still doing the same. can you help me?

http://www.bealsmotor.com/manuals/113282-01.pdf You could have an air problem. Take the cover off the heater and see if it runs ok, if it does then you have an air problem, check for bad lines or cracked housings

I replaced all filters and the nozzel pump presure is at 6psi i'm running desiel the ignighter glows for 5-6sec I'mgetting fual but ignighter goes out before flame

I want you to inspect the fuel tank, you are looking for water that may have entered while in storage. Condensation builds from storing them and it can duplicate what you are saying here. What I did was to empty the fuel in a clean five gallon bucket and observe, fuel is lighter than water so it floats to the top water sinks to the bottom. If water is present please try to dry out the tank the best you can by soaking it up with a rag. You can siphon off the fuel just be careful not to get the water. If no water is present check to see how the igniter is positioned in conjunction to the angled spray of atomized fuel. You may have to bend it in a little closer to the fuel.

My 441 monitor heater will ignite and then it burns for a little while then goes out and starts flashing.

sounds like your heater may be starving for fuel. check all your rubber hoses for cracks first and then continue troubleshooting from there.

My monitor heater 441 comes on but after 3 mins.or so the burner lights come on full then starts blinking still no flames no heat.

Not a lot of details to go on. Does the pump make a loud ticking sound? That would mean it isn't getting any fuel to it and you would need to check your filter and the strainer in the fuel sump. You may need to check your igniter also. If it isn't working the heater will not light and kerosene will be building up in the burner everytime you try to light it. If you have a clamp on ammeter you can clamp around 1 of the igniter wires and should get 2 - 4 amps when you turn the heater on. If this doesn't help you can email me a [email protected].
