Bosch Dishwasher SHV4303UC - Does not drain.

Help please. This 7 yr old dishwasher is not draining at the end / beginning of the cycle. I checked both filters which were clear. Disconnected the drain line to the sink and it was clear. Pressed the 2 buttons together for 3 seconds per manual to reset. Turned off circuit breaker to reset. Nothing helped.
This happened 2 yrs ago and I believe the circuit board was needed and was replaced. When you start the machine you hear a slight hum for 20 seconds before the wash cycle. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a SHU6805UC/U06 which also does not drain completely after a full cycle. The water stands at the bottom and begins to stink. I have cleaned out the filter and cannot figure out why the water is just sitting.

I'm having the exact same problem. I think it happened once before and I was able to get it going with a Cancel/Drain, but no luck this time. I've also been unable to find any blockage. It seems as though the Drain cycle just isn't running.

Try looking for slithers of glass etc under the impeller. Remove the sump covers (filters) and look into the bottom. There will probably be a small cover held down by a screw. Under this is the impeller. Roll up a hand towel into a cigarette shape and slide this under the impeller - that should clear anything out.

Bosch dishwasher runs continuously

I would call Bosch with you.re model and serial number, they have had a recall on your model for the control board and that sounds like it may be your problem, if it is under recall Bosch will send someone out at no charge to install a new board (800) 856-9226

Hi We have a 1 yr old Bosch dishwasher SGS45C02GB-06. It's stopped working for the second time in a year. It stopped mid-cycle and the water is not draining away or being pumped away; although you can...

Did you install the high-loop for the drain hose? If not, you need to pull out the dishwasher and make sure that the hose is not lying below the pump at the bottom of the dishwasher. This will usually fix this problem.

Need to replace drain hose on bosch dishwasher model shv4303UC/11

Hi, Welocome to Fixya. You just need to remove the small plastic holding tab at the back where the hose exits the machine. Then along the left side ( from the front...right side from back ) remove the side panel and the hose will simply pull out of place. Hope that answer's your question, let me know how you make out. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today. Please take a moment to leave a comment and also rate the solution provided accordingly. Good luck. Macmarkus :)

Bosch dishwasher timer freezing

There is a recall on the control board of many of these models, butyour problem is likely not related. It sounds like a plugged drain system or a possible bad drain pump. That's why you are hearing the pump running constantly. I have written a guide to help. It is here. Thanks!

Bosch dishwasher will not drain - causing moldy odor

Hello Mimhoff it depends on how much water is down there. The sump area always has a little water in it to prevent the circulation pump seals from sticking. Usually around 1 to 2 inches. If there is more than that, check the slots at the bottom of the sump on the left side for being clogged and check the end of the drain hose to make sure it is clear. If you are getting a moldy/odor from the dishwasher, try running Dishwasher Magic or Tang thru the dishwasher. This will remove any build up of food or detergent from the dishwasher. If you are running the dishwasher every few days and just scraping your dishes, then either leave the door ajar or run the rinse & hold cycle to help keep the odor down. Bosch doesn't reccommend running bleach thru the dishwasher as this can cause damage to the rubber seals. However 2 tablespoons of bleach once a year won't hurt.

Bosch Dishwasher

The reason it is doing this is because the anti flood valve is either stuck or you have a leak in the bottom of the dishwasher. if you tip it back slightly does water come out? if so you have a leak, If not take the front panel of and you will see a round polistorin disc, make sure this is not jammed etc, make sure you unplug machine first.
