Help.....my phone screen has gone blank.i can still make & recieve calls???
I am having the same problem with my w850i, poweres up but nothing more than a blank screen? Any suggestions?

My sony e. w580i seems like going through start up processes fine but when on displays a blank graphic box with the theme wallpaper design visible in the back end.
But cant exit this box to see the normal screen. please help?

I had this same thing happen a few days ago. The screen actually began flashing a few weeks ago, although it usually stopped when I turned my phone off and turned it back on. Then the other day, it went completely black. I didn't drop it or do anything that might have caused it, but I also couldn't fix it, not matter what I tried. Eventually I took it to a cell phone repair shop nearby, even though I didn't hold much hope for it. But, much to my surprise, they were able to repair it by replacing a certain part (I think it might have been the LCD panel, but I would need to clarify with someone to see which part was actually replaced). It cost $70, but it's certainly a lot less expensive than buying a new phone.
I gave mine a few punches and it suddenly started to work fine its weird but it worked
Had the exact same problem on my last sony ericsson, the "white screen of death" it somehow seemed to fix itself after a couple of months using a different phone

My phone has gone blank but like i can turn it on and then it'll vibrate and then go black, but then sometimes it'll show a faint picture of the theme i have.. like just pink flowers!

when i turn my phone on the screen is all black. but i can still call people. i get text messages but cant read them. my sister has the same phone and it goes black but it comes back after a while, mine hasnt and its been a few months.
had the same problem, colors al fucked up then the white screen appear... punchin the back of the handset is a quick-fix for the problem... but i think id better get a new phone sorted. grr.

dropped it, but not more than a couple feet - no more than the everyday phone drop. but now the screen is black - i can make calls, turn it on and off, but the screen is all black!!
my phone is one year old....worked quite nicely until i got gprs activated...and started having this problem..screen goes all black..or some times mixed colours display...some times punches help to get proper display.
Btw dropped it couple of times aswell...now think is it the dropping which caused the problem or gprs...coz when i used gprs its battery gets very warm...may be it has affected the display.
I think I might have dropped my phone in the day it went blank.. But my phone now doesnt let me see anything; its just a dark blue screen? I need my phone to do working stuff everyday and I don't know how to fix it! Can anyone help me?!
