The Voicemail isn't in the phone itself, but usually in the phone system. You will need to contact your system administrator or telephone vendor to have the mailbox reset. While they're at it, have them update the username.
call the the Voicemail back door number, or your company's Auto Attendant (usually the main number), when you hear the auto attendant, press *, then enter your mailbox number (usually your extension number), then your password.
You'll need to log into the voicemail server or PBX that hosts the VM and reset the passcode for each mailbox you're trying to access. If you have an embedded Mitel VM you can change the passcode by logging into the Admin mailbox then select option 2 to edit mailboxes, pick the mailbox to edit and follow the prompts until you have the option to change passcode
