try starting without the battery - just remove the battery ,,,

Have you tried another Cord with the EXACT same power specs? Remove the battery. Has the cord/charger/transformer been damaged? Has the AC jack been damaged? Due to pulling on the cord while plugged in? At the AC jack "wiggle" the plug a bit to see if the plug and AC jack are making a good connection or Loose. Sounds like a loose AC connection.

You need a repair shop because with the hit some internal parts maybe are bad.

THE SYSTEM SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO POWER SUPPLY AND REMOVE THE BATTERY AND TRY TO ON THE SYSTEM .IF IT BOOT THEN AFTER THAT INSERT THE BATTERY SO THAT IT CAN CHARGE VERY WELL OR CHANGE THE BATTERY....OK RATE THIS SOLUTION

Try removing / swapping / reseating the memory.

Try booting with one stick only, if the top slot doesn't work, try booting the bottom slot. Try both sticks.

Let me know what happens.

Ensure the wattage and ampage matches. If it does, then your system board might be gone.

Try Downloading and Updating the Chipset Driver..and the Toshiba utility drivers

Remove the power adapter and the battery. Hold the power button in for up to 60 seconds to discharge the laptop. Try starting it again.
