You must be subscribed with your telephone company for caller ID. Confirm that you know caller ID to working.

It could be possible that the caller is blocking their number. It should show as "unknown" or something like that, maybe even "private". In either case, the person being called would not control the callers sent number, it would be the Telco on the other end

Dear Sir, I am using Samsung SJ700 mobile phone. And sometimes I get incoming call with no number displayed on the screen. It just shows incoming call. Can you pls help me in sorting out this...

This happens when two or more similar (saving one number with different names) contacts is saved on your phonebook, i.e. if you've saved my number on the sim card with a name and at the same time you have my number (same number) on your phone's memory, the caller id will not be displayed, you'll only see the "Incoming Call" or "Call". So I would suggest you to please check the phonebook and delete (keep only one per number) if there are multiple similar contacts saved on your phonebook.

You can also reset the phone to Factory default, in case there's no problem with your phonebook/contacts.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

Comdial 7260 Incoming number displayed not the name.

Call your telephone company and explain the problem. They will give you a code to put on your phone.

Remove message of the middle line of display

Pick a spare button and label it CALL LOG. Now press PROG that button and dial 54 STORE. Ooh, it should light up. Now press it and your display will show 3 of the 4 lines of CID info from the calls to your set. The navigator button will show the rest, just keep pressing the UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT buttons. When you run out of items to display, the light and INCOMING CALL display will go out.

If you press 54 and the 3 digit number of your incoming call group (maybe 601 by default) it will follow the incoming calls to the entire call group.

How to do check my missed call log

A Panasonic TDx system has 2 types of call logs, one personal for the set, and one for the ICD group.

Pick a spare button, press PROG, the button, and dial 54 STORE.

If you had incoming: 00x on your display, that button will light and you can now press it to see who called. Your Navigator UP/DONW key will step you forward or backward through the log. The LEFT/RIGHT key will display the 4 lines of the display if you're not using a 7636 phone.

If you want to see incoming calls to a particular ICD group, pick another button, and dial 54 plus the ICD group number. For example, I used 100 as my ICD group (now 600 by default). I have 2 buttons, one logs my extension calls, one displays the system calls.

Display showing "Incoming Call :001"

Don't worry, if you ignore it will grow :-)

It's a count of the unanswered calls with CID. If you take a spare button and program it for Call Log, it will light up and you press it to start the call log display.

Try this press PROG 54 STORE

When you press it, your display will now reveal the numbers under incoming.

If you put a number after the 54, it will log calls for a particular group. I get my calls on incoming group 100, so I store 54 100 under a button and I can see all system calls. I have a second button for just my extension calls.
