I purchased a 1997 Honda accord Se for my 16 year old daughter but the radio/cassette doesn't work. I want to put in a cd player without paying a fortune, what is my best option?

I would recommend purchase an aftermarket cd player. you can also purchase a cd player is dash kit. that will come with the wire harness connector and the brackets to hold it in place.

Need radio code for 1997 Honda Accord SE has the CD player.

Obtain serial number of the unit that is in your vehicle. ( usually on the back of the unit).
Pay a visit to the dealer with the title , registration and serial number of the unit and he will give you the code. Cost $ approx $50 to $75.
If you choose not to remove the radio yourself to obtain the serial number the dealer will do the whole show for you for approx $100.00.
Contact your local dealer prior to showing up .
