TV picture not clear

First we need to know a little more details about the kind of TV you have, the kind of service (Cable, Satellite or off Air).
Comparing showroom to your home is also something we need to know. Was the showroom using Cable or Satellite. Satellite will always have a better picture quality wise.
If you are using composite input for the signal path between TV and source this would not produce a High Dif picture Composite = Yellow for video, red and white for audio. If you are using Component source that will produce a HD signal cable is RED/BLUE and Green with different audio.
The best quality is using an HDMI cable, this is all in one cable and the sources is the best. One last thing, if you are using the RF *cable as source it will not give you a quality signal.

Lost signal from the satellite

Signal Fade And Loss ~ Important, especially during winter!

Keep in mind that satellite broadcasts occur directly from fixed satellites in space to users. UPLINKS TO that satellite can happen from almost anywhere in the world! This includes broadcasts from remote studios, satellite vans and trucks.

Even signals from the main providing studios are susceptible to weather conditons even tho they have huge, high-gain transmitting dishes!

Weather is a major factor for both the uplinks and downlinks! Storm clouds can block the signals anywhere in the signal path(s). Rain clouds do too ~ even if it's not raining yet. Water-laden clouds make some of the BEST signal attenuators.

So one may have a gorgeous day in San Diego (let's say), but storms back east could trash satellite reception at his location and potentially everywhere else!

As you know, weather conditions all over the US are changing constantly with many severe storms occurring this past week and during any winter. In fact this week there was total signal loss on several satellites and I suspect storms back east were a big factor.

So it could have just been issues of timing for you. The UPLINK had intermittent problems with signal paths semi-crippled by weather... YOUR weather was CLEAR, but your reception was far from problem free ~ only because of weather problems elsewhere.

If you see intermittent satellite reception do check out the weather... especially back east.

Hope this helps!

Problem with Lag between picture and sound

There should be a setting in the Home theater's menu (probably under Audio or Audio Setup) to increase or decrease the delay. Set this to the least possible delay, or if possible, no delay at all. This, from what I read is a very good unit so it should have this setting in the 'Menu', if you can't find it, the manufacturer should be able to help. Good Luck!

No picture on TV through Sky, Home Cinema is on but have sound.

do have sound and picture at same time you will need a fibre optical cable, you connect that from your cinema system to your tv. then you need to set your cinema system to digital input or fibre optic or check by pressing aux on your remote and see which is the right one. i am not familier with panasonic as i have samasung.

Pink colour everywhere

Assuming all power supplies are OK, you most likely have a bad CRT grid, and that respective (red) tube must be replaced. I'm sorry that it went that way, as this repair is not cheap....accordianman
