Epson 1280 Printer breakdown

if the three lites, two red (1 paper jam and second ink tank) ligts and one green light is on. than what is problem in printer please how can solve this problem easily.

A flashing green on printer light generally means its waiting for a command for instance, push print, stop etc... also check that the pause button has not been pushed. if so depress again to release printing process

The green light is the power light, the red light indicates out of paper or an empty ink cartridge.

The first time you install ink cartridges, the printer must charge its print head for about 90 seconds. Wait until charging finishes (the green power light stops flashing) before you turn off the printer, or

it may charge improperly and use excess ink the next time you turn it on. If the printer stops moving or making noise, but the green power light is still flashing after 5 minutes, turn off the printer. If the light is still flashing when you turn it back on, contact Epson.

Turn off the printer, then make sure the ink cartridges are inserted completely and the ink cartridge cover is closed completely. Also make sure no packing material remains in the printer. Wait a moment, then turn the printer back on to clear the error.

you could use it for a table top computer archeological relic. the flashing lights will attract peoples attention, and start conversations at parties.

You have either a clogged colour print head or a non-functioning print cartridge (only one colour working). If the printer has separate cartridges for different colours (and black) you can do a partial swap, replacing the ones that have failed, but start by running the command CLEAN PRINT HEADS from the printer options or controller panel, and watch for the quality to improve. You may have to clean the heads two or three times. If no change in the quality after two flushes, replace the cartridges with new ones.
