Epson 1280 Printer breakdown

Up to recently it printed perfectly. Then upon switching it on, all three red lights and the one green light started blinking, printer does not move or make noise.  Nothing to do with computer or software, checked this, nothing to do with USB cable, checked, no paper jam, ink is there, Note: this printer had a fliuduc ink delivery system by Lumijet added, it has worked fine with it for at least two years.

It is the wasted ink pad, they are full.

to have your printer work again

turn off the printer.
press and hold the ink and paper button while turning on the printer, wait for 5 seconds then release the button and press the paper button for at least 10 sec.

Epson C66 red light stays on for ink

The first time you install ink cartridges, the printer must charge its print head for about 90 seconds. Wait until charging finishes (the green power.jpg power light stops flashing) before you turn off the printer, or

it may charge improperly and use excess ink the next time you turn it on. If the printer stops moving or making noise, but the green power.jpg power light is still flashing after 5 minutes, turn off the printer. If the light is still flashing when you turn it back on, contact Epson.
Turn off the printer, then make sure the ink cartridges are inserted completely and the ink cartridge cover is closed completely. Also make sure no packing material remains in the printer. Wait a moment, then turn the printer back on to clear the error.

Printing problem

You have either a clogged colour print head or a non-functioning print cartridge (only one colour working). If the printer has separate cartridges for different colours (and black) you can do a partial swap, replacing the ones that have failed, but start by running the command CLEAN PRINT HEADS from the printer options or controller panel, and watch for the quality to improve. You may have to clean the heads two or three times. If no change in the quality after two flushes, replace the cartridges with new ones.

Good luck...
