Remove the water cover lid then remove the chain connector at the handle looks like a diaper pin then unscrew the nut holding the handle in place and feed the handle assembly threw the nut and buy new handle assembly and replace. IF it's just the chain is broke replace the chain they are sold separately at any hardware store. IF it's the valve you can replace it as well by shutting off the toilet water valve, next disconnect the hose and go buy a float assembly that is similar. Adjust the new float assembly to be the same length as the old one then install gasket on the float and put in the hole for the float, install second gasket on the float on the outside and then install the nut and install the hose. Before you tighten the nut on the float make sure the float valve lines up with the handle and the float then tighten down hook up new chain and tighten the water hose, tighten the nut on the float and open the water valve. Watch the water level fill up if it looks like it's going to run over you will have to adjust the float so that it does not run into the throat of the toilet.

One of our EcoQuantum toilets really doesn't flush. It flushes part way, but only pushing the handle down; it does nothing pushing the handle up. We have to flush several times to get it to work. What do...

Hello

Im Rossouw. qwalifide plumber

Ur problem most likely is ur arm conected to your flush handel.
If the arm is iron, try bending it down so that when u use the handel it has more leverage tolift up ur sistern flush rubber and create a flow facume as we call it.

if its plastick.... u must ajust the hight of ur flush meganisem by turning the head were the arm is conected left and pushing it down and turning it right to fasen it again. this will also work for iron arm bt is un nessesery for iron arm.

ajust hight until problem is solved.

Please rate my advice thanx :]

Have to hold handel when flushing

Check the linkage going from the handle to the flapper inside the tank. If it is too long, it won't lift the flapper high enough causing you to have to do it manually by holding the handle. Also check the flapper itself. They are a rubber piece that seals the output of the tank smack dab in the center of the bottom of the tank. Depending on the age of the toilet and if you have hard water, it should be replaced. It's a $5 part at Home Depot or Lowes. Most of them do not even require tools to install. The rubber just slips over a couple little ears on each side of the siphon tube.

Driver side door wont open.solution on opening the door

This is usually caused by a broke plastic retaining clip.the inside handel should have a insert covering a screw pop out the insert and remove the screw. If there is no rod atached to the handel (broke clip) locate the rod in the door (a metal coat hanger works good) pull on the rod towards the front of the door and it should open.Replace the clip or sometimes the handel itself breaks needing replaced.

Hope you get a handel on it!!
