Electric dryer runs but doesnt heat up..fuses not blown breaker not tripped
A defective breaker my be open and not in tripped postion. Did you actually check for correct voltages? I have seen this on the no-heat problems before. Don't assume a breaker is working just because it is in the correct position. Check voltage on receptacle first. If it is not correct and if you have the skill and are careful, you can remove both breakers from the main panel and check them with meter.
There are a couple things that could cause the dryer not to heat here are the most common to check for, follow this guide:
Electric Dryer Runs But Dont Heat
Nead to know mod#
On a Whirlpool, it has been for me the coils are broken...it can be fixed by undoing the belt, 'popping' the top pnl up with a screwdriver, lean the front pnl down then move the drum forward to get to the coils. You MUST use a crimp type connector as these are nickle wire and won't solder easily. Saves a lot of money and will run forever. Definitly unplug it first! Duh!
