When system is turned on it goes to a red screen telling me I need to contact support.

you have a power fault and it needs a tv engineer to fix it

Main board fault. Contact any service technician.

take out the hard drive and then put it back into the ps3. Then turn the system back on and see if the red light goes away.

If the red light is still coming on then that means the hard drive is bad and would need to be replaced.

the red flash you are talking about im assuming is the screen going red
that usualy means a red picture tube they break down
one way to tell turn the red screen control counter clockwise and see if you can control the tube gain
and then you can lightly tap on crt neck and i do mean carfuly and see if it flashes it most likely will and you would need to change the crt and reset it up

ok it took me like 2 hours but I read the whole manual at the back page it says if anything like this happens you'll have to reset the system through the ar pc manager what to do exactly is in the manual the
connect ar to pc
load the code manager
right click on the program in the top lerft of screen
choose about action replay from the pop up menu
click on the reset action replay button

note: you will lose all codes on the system but it should work

Hold the red turn off button until a menu shows up and choose turn off.

check t-mobile support for firmware update.

If you can't get one from tmobile support you will most likely have to send this one in for service.

It is a system error. This is seemingly common and will have to be resolved by sending it in to microsoft for repair.

Hi.. sorry to hear about your problem that is unfortunate. I believe you can still contact microsoft bc they extended the warranty to help with the red ring of death issue that most people have had. Call gamestop and find out if they can tell you how old the system is or just contact miscrosoft directly and explain your issue.. i know right now microsoft has extended the warranty to 3years out just not sure when that was implemented and how old your system is.. xbox.com
