I have a samsung hl-r5667w model, when power is applied tv makes a clicking sound and no sound and no picture but the power LED is on.Bad power supply?

Sounds that tv got color wheel problem that will be replaced. If you are handy with electronics stuff repair then replace color wheel in light engine of tv to solve its issue.
There can be a few causes. One of the LED Modules has gone bad, The LED Driver board has gone bad and or the Power Supply has gone bad. You will need to have a good tech look into it.
Power supply board, Look for bad capacitors they will be vented or puffed up on Top.

make sure put the lamp door back before trying to turn it on because they have switches on them that allow the tv to turn on. If that is ok you probably have a bad ballast. Call a local tv repair shop to further diagnose the problem.
samsung color weel replacments are all the new air bearing type insted of fluid type. if you replace the new color weel , color will look bad. also note when ordering your replacment make shure it comes from samsung and not just a generic model.
the original replacement will come with a set of instroction to reset the dmv ajustments.
find the dmd pcb and look for a2 jumper that is visable through a small squaire remove the jumper. then folow instrustions with new color weel.

You may have a colorwheel going bad. The bearings start going out and this is an indication of the failure. The colorwheel is located in the light engin e therefore you may want to get a qualified tech to look at it
Sounds like a problem on the digital board. try hard booting (unplug for 2 minutes) to reboot the microprocessor. if no resolution, look for a new board part # bp94-01859f if your model # ends in WX
