Paslode nail gun 325 black not firing

Hi guys, i have a paslode nail gun 325 ( older black model) fully gassed, new and fully charged battery, that all works well, but will stop firing for no real reason. everything will be engaged, fan working, but will not fire. Q; Can the trigger cause problems or maybe the solid state stuff. Would love some help. Cheers Steven.

Any time these guns become intermittent or stop firing but the fan still runs, the first the to check is the expiration date on the gas cartridges. The do expire and this will make the gun work inconsistently or not at all.

Paslode framing nailer: compressor powered, hisses but will not shoot nails, appears to be in the sliding mechanizism that touches the wood first before it will shoot, help

I've used paslode for years and whenever there was a "hiss" of air and no fire- it was o-rings- When were the o-rings changed last? And how do you know they are in 'good shape'? You can't tell by just looking at them. If that isn't the problem then I can't help. Just as an aside- do you oil the gun (down the air intake nipple) every time you use it? Lack of oil will wear out o-rings fast. Sorry if this isn't overly helpfull but most gun problems are o-ring or seal related unless you've worn out or damaged a mechanical part.

Paslode nail guns won't shoot

piston is probably jammed

This happens sometimes try holding it up against a board with the trigger depressed and then inset the battery.

The goal is to try to force the firing sequence to get the piston back to the right position with corded units this is simply done by attaching the air hose with the trigger pulled this causes air to rush into the gun chamber pushing the piston back and firing a nail out.

The cause of this is a misfire or jammed nail that stopped the piston in the wrong location so air will not build in the chamber correctly.

Hope that helps

Paslode air framer not sinking some nails

Your air pressure is dropping everytime you fire. It sound like your compressor is not cutting back in untill it to low. Not giving your tool enough continuess pressure. Your compressor cut in pressure should be around 90-100psi no less. and your max. pressure no more then 120psi. (Make sure your regulator is set at 110psi)
good luck...!
