I bought this thing online, it powers on, but then freezes up. the power indicator will stay on even if the unit is off, it'll say it recording, then not recors a second of video, even though your memory shows that you are using it. I press the reset button, sometimes it'll work, for a few seconds, but then it'll just freeze up again.
Yep! the SD card was full. I deleted a few movies and then recorded again without the camera freezing so it worked for me at least Thanks!
Te problem is often causes by invalid file name syntax if you add extra reserved characters such as period or full stops like you are writing the file name with english gramer. Then basically the camera won;t be able to read the file format and will throw up errors sadly this is only a small operating system and does not have all the functionality and error checking of a full computer system. Sjust check your file names first.

Take out memory stick from camera and check does it still freeze?
I think memory card in camera is causing problem.
