There is a few things this could be - the 'vertical' of the television went out, the CCFL bulbs are on their way out/burnt out, or the inverter powering the bulbs went out. If you can hold a flashlight to the screen and see picture, it is either the inverter or the lamps - if not, then it's the vertical, and it's easier to just replace

It sounds like a power surge has damaged the color controller and scan line section of the circuit board. The cost to repair is more then the replacement cost. Next time use a UPS for protection (battery back up for computer and electronics). Regards [email protected]

Vertical lines on screen kinda pixelated

Just check this link. You can see similar type of fault to LCD TVs. Compare them to that of your TVs and make sure. It sounds that the LVDS cable has loose contact with its connection sockets. Re-seat it once, and check.http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts there, either by its left side bar, or view it in Timeslide option.

No picture, only colored vertical lines

Settings. It sounds like the convergence. It needs to be adjusted. Have had this problem before. A lot of people actually throw there TVA away because they have this problem and they think its broken, when its usually just a simple fix of adjusting the convergence. You have to make sure the little box, on the convergence settings is in the middle. Hope it fixes ur problem. :)
