These dvd player`s are a big JOKE!!!!! I need a battery for a PVD 705 and can`t find one anywhere.Help!!! Does any one know where i can find one??? You can`t get a hold of the durabrand company to take care of the problem.
I have a PDV-709 THAT was purchased in Sept 07 and only has about 4 hours of play time on it, my son knocked over and as you already know, the Lennoxx company is no where to be found for repair....I will sell our unit complete with remote, battery, user manual and car charger for $75.00 plus shipping if you're interested, email me.

Just take the voltages of that bad boy and the poloarity any universal adaptor will work just fine. Do notget cought up in the garbage that it will not. Radioshack is your good freind on this. You do not need a duraband AC adaptor you can use a universal one at best.
there are some stores that sell the durabrand products that might be able to help you, one that comes to mind is best buy, they have their own product support, you will have to provide them with the model number.

If you have an A/C supply chord, you can buy a DC-to-AC adapter. This handy tool works for many small AC supply apparatuses. They're available in Wal-Marts or any auto parts store like Auto Zone or Oreilly Auto parts.

do you still need additional battery packs? the model 705 come with 2 slightly different batteries (they are not interchageable). I have 2 of the battery model BAT-05, which I will sell for $40 each + shipping. The other is an ealier model with not battery #. That one is $40 + shipping also. I was having the same problem with my pvd-702...I genlty cleaned the lens with a dap of alcohol on a q-tip. I blew the lens so it was dry and the dvd player started working. No need to try to call the 1-800 number, it is disconnected and the warranties are not valid, because the address does not exist. try the q-tip, it worked for me.
