I installed the equipment quite a while ago, and it had been working fine... But for some reason now only 2 speakers work and it´s the front left and back left ones...

either your connectors need cleaning or maybe a break in the wiring. Is there on spot where both wires come together if so check there. If there is any plugs, pull them apart and clean them with contact cleaner
turn on your video and start something playing, press the speakers button repeatedly until the sound comes back. this should bring back your front speakers, if it doesn't, double check your speaker connections and sound field program.
the speakers button should cycle through all available front speaker options.
make sure sub is working .Power it up , remove sub RCA jacks from receiver .Gently tap on RCA with fingers. You should here a hum when touched .You can also try audio from TAPE REC OUT .If you dont get audio .Check setting at sub .If it working okay check setting at receiver and or sub level at receiver
it sounds like one channel in your amp had shorted and letting dc go to the speaker...a speaker is an electromagnet and requires ac to make it pulse..the amp has a blown channel and would have to be repaired and a factory service center...there is no quick fix..
Please check your model number, I can not find it on the JVC service website.
This is a powered sub-woofer I think. You need to have a thick black cord that connects the sub to the head unit. Then the satellite speakers get connected to the speaker jacks on the sub-woofer box. The sub-woofer should also be plugged into an A/C outlet on the wall.
The speaker outputs are labeled right there where you connect the speaker wires. You should see a red and black connector for each speaker and they are labeled "front right" "front left" "center" "rear right" "rear left".
If you do not have the thick black cord you need to connect the head unit with the sub-woofer, you can not use this system.
If you look at the head unit and give me the model number on it, I may be able to find the part you need. But I must have a good model number to work with, preferably from the head unit.
The center channel amplifier in the main unit isn't working. Check the warranty. If it's still in force Yamaha will fix it free. If out of warranty, they'll give you an estimate.
