Is the display intended to be illuminated or is it to be read 'in the dark' so to speak? As it is digital, and as the model in the store appeared to be illuminated, I don't understand why I cannot view the display without a flashlight. Thank you - ez [email protected]

You should be able to just touch the thermostat and it should lite up to see the numbers. If it does not lite up you have abad stat. Working but no display lite. But just try touching the screen if it is touch type stat or just hit the up or down bitton qucikly and see if it lites up. Please leave feedback Rus

Testimonial: "Thank you mucho - Very HELPFUL, my sons did not believe it was intended to be lit. I tried the buttons & touching the screen and it did not light. ez"

Psr-s500; no display at all but everything else is working properly.

Read your manual about a contrast control for the display. At one end of the range of control the display is almost invisible. Sometimes there is a little shaft/knob on the back, other times it is a menu item and yes, it is hard to see the display to adjust the display... just go through the procedure blindly to see if it comes back. Also illuminate the display if dark with a flashlight and see if there are display characters there but just lacking a backlight. A backlight failure could be the problem.

Showing F-30 error code

F30, indicate an electronic communication problem with the washer. Some Duet models are equipped with electronic displays that will read "F30" when this error occurs. Models without displays instead illuminate a given combination of LEDs to indicate an error. In the Duet Sport, for example, when the "Wash," "Rinse," "Spin" and "Cycle Complete" LEDs are are illuminated at the same time, an F30 error is present.

Other comments about this problem suggest "storing" detergents on the top cover. A new, full bottle of Tide caused problems for us. Cleared the top of it, problem solved.

I suggest visit and check this link: Use and Care Guide

Hope helps.

The control panel went dark. Can only read it

Not sure on the make but it appears that the timer clock display is failing. Replacement cost is typically £80 but without the make i cannot give you a accurate costing. Fitting would be extra.

Why do some images recorded with flash come out looking a little dark?

Recording a subject that is outside the flash range can cause the subject to appear dark in the resulting image, because not enough of the flash reaches the subject. When this happens, you can use flash assist to correct the brightness of the recorded subject, so it appears as if the flash illumination was sufficient. Note, however, that recording certain types of subjects may not produce the results you expect, even if you use flash assist.
