I have a women's kc1239 wrist watch. I've brought it to my jewelers to fix the pins near the clasp, but noticed the 2nd pin down from the watch face was broken, too. My jeweler said they cannot fix this part. Please tell me there's a fix for this.

The jeweler did not suggest another band. I was hoping to keep the original band since there's nothing wrong with the band other than the 1 pin. So, I'm assuming they don't make the same band anymore??

    Thank you.

Second pin down into the band? If so, bands are usually not repairable. If you know someone who's very mechanically inclined and good at tinkering, they may have some luck, but there probably is no official fix for it. That said, I've often fixed things that "couldn't be fixed" but that's something that needs to be figured out with it in someone's hands, not over the internet. I'd try to help if we were close, but unless you're in SE PA........

Even if they don't make the same band anymore, every watch I've ever seen attached the band the same way. There are several different widths, but other than that they are interchangeable.

I am sorry but u are going to need to replace the watch band, the jeweler is correct, did he suggest the correct replacement band, he should have a selection of bands that will work with this watch.

Adjust the bracelet

There are tiny pins either side of the wrist band next to the clasp. Remove these pins and you can take out up to two links (and a half link on some models.)
A jeweller could do it, needs a special tool to tap them out and put them back

SIZE ADJUSTMENT

If this watch has a metal watch band then links can be removed to make the band smaller.
OR
You maybe able to fit a new smaller watch band to the watch. A watch/jewellery shop will be able to fix or fit a new watch band.

How to change the size of the strap?

I don't know for the swatch specifically but all watches are roughly the same beast. If you look at the side you will notice small pins on the band. With a very small jewelers screw driver and some light tapping you can pop the pins out. The end connections near the watch and then on the clasp side are usually spring loaded which can be removed with a tiny flat blade as well. Just tap out the pins and keep track of them, you will need to tap them back in once you have removed the extra link to make this smaller.

How do I make the watch band smaller?

to adjust the size of your wrist...eat chocolate!
most watches with linked wristbands require the links removing.(small pins to b e pushed out) the type with the chain links usually have a clamp to release to slide the clasp up the band. the instructions should be with the watch manual. or ask a jeweler to help.

please post pictures if need more help so i can see the design

I recently received a Tag Heuer Link Calbre 5 Automatic watch as a gift. However, it needs 1-2 links removed. I took it to a local jeweler and they said it can't be sized because it they weren't ablwe to...

Here is how its done. First remove one end of the clasp (this is much easier on the adjustment side - just depress the pin and remove). Now you can separate the two halves of the first link (actually this is a half-link). Simply grab each half and pull. You may have to do some twisting - do it carefully so that you don't bend the pin. You may have to do some prying - if so, you can use a thin piece of plastic so you don't scratch the link and only pry along the pin so that you don't bend it. Once removed, you can now remove the first full link. Remove it in the same way. Now replace the end half-link and re-attach the clasp. Removing a link from the other side is a little more difficult. The clasp lock is held on with a long pin (slot on one end and screw on the other. One must be held in place while you turn the other. You may need another pair of hands to help you.
If you feel uncomfortable about any of the above, take it to a jeweler - a Tag AD is not necessary but probably best although any jeweler can remove a link if they understand how they are put together. Tell them the link is composed of a right and left half that snap together and they should then see and understand what they need to do.

Hi,
All watches have clasps to open/release the watch at the rear of the watch look for slight indention and with your thumb and 2nd finger nail pull towatds you and this will release the clasp and to remove you take the clasp out of its gate andwall your watch is released.

Larger clasp

Unfortunately, I do not think this is going to be an easy fix. You may want to take it to a local independent watchmaker. Gucci may sell larger clasps but they may be difficult to find even from them directly. I have looked at the watch you have. It it was solid gold a Jeweler could just make it a touch larger.

Looking at the clasps the options i see is

Have the bangle removed and wear it on a leather strap,
Possibly remove the clasp where it says gucci and have the pins laser welded so that the clasp stays in a fixed position similar to a bangle.

Missing hinge pins

You will have to get a complete clasp assembly, which will have to be ordered from the factory that makes that model. If the clasp assembly is not available, A jeweler might have that part or be able to repair it for you.
