Go to: Control Panel > Sound and then a box will pop up. Click on Playback tab and make sure your correct speaker output is selected as the default. Then click Apply button. Then OK. Also, to check your mute/volume button click the speaker icon on your task bar (its next to the little clock in the bottom right of your screen. You might have to click a little arrow that looks like this < to see it. Then just turn up the volme. Also, make sure the speaker cables are plugged in and the power cord as well if they are external speakers.

How do I get my Meowsic keyboard to record? The record button lights up when I hit it, but nothing happens when I hit the play button.

We just got one of these today at a thrift shop. I thought it was supposed to record what you say into the microphone but it doesn't. It records your "compositions". Press "record" then play something on the keyboard. Then hit "Play" and it should play it back for you.

No sound (ringer, keyboard, etc.)

You may have hit the mute button, you may have turned the volume down using the buttons or you may have accidentally put it in airplane mode or another mode where "sound off" is specified.
Hit the volume mute button, hit the volume up button, go to settings for the volume option, go to the settings menu and change the mode that the phone is set to a standard mode

Well, it sounds like you need a new output IC, which is what produces sound to the speakers.
