Miele Premier Dishwasher fault

Hi Experts
During both wash and rinse programmes
Salt lamp flashes during initial fill machine fills a little more then salt lamp flashes again followed by the Inlet/Outlet lamp lighting and the prorgramme sequence display extinguishing and machine stops.

The Inlet/Outlet lamps remain on and there is at least 10mm of water above the inside filter combination.

Upon resetting and running a new sequence the machine pumps out fine.
I have reloaded the salt container and checked the salt hardness settings
I have flushed out the inlet filter within the inlet pipe connection
I have cleaned out the inner filters and non return valve.

Help required please!
Regards
Ray Baker

    I've solved it! The Salt container has a reed switch activated by an internal magnetic float that senses a low salt level when float is low. The chamber was clagged up and the reed switch was buzzing sending false messages to the dishwasher controller.

    I removed and cleaned the salt container and the float, replaced and refilled, all is now good, no salt lamp flashing anymore and cycle all good.

SOURCE: dishwasher salt

Cooking salt contains ingredients that could damage your dishwasher. It could increase water hardness and they are likely to clog when wet. Suck out as much water as you can from the salt cup,enter there dishwasher salt and run your washer few empty cycles on the lowest temperature. Good luck

Ariston dishwasher LFB 5B010 EX on/off, rinse aid and salt lights are flashing, left washing light orange and green (end) light on without flashing.

It sounds like there may be a problem with your Ariston dishwasher. The flashing lights and the dishwasher's inability to wash could be caused by a number of issues, including a problem with the control panel, a faulty water inlet valve, or a clogged wash pump.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can try the following steps:
  1. Check the control panel for any loose or damaged wires. If you find any loose or damaged wires, try to secure them or repair them as needed.
  2. Check the water inlet valve to make sure it is not clogged or faulty. The water inlet valve controls the flow of water into the dishwasher. If it is clogged or faulty, it could cause the dishwasher to stop working.
  3. Check the wash pump for any blockages. The wash pump is responsible for circulating the water during the wash cycle. If it is clogged, it could prevent the dishwasher from washing properly.

How to check a miele novotronic anti syphon unit

During rinse, water usually flows through the softener dispenser. The cup fills up and a small siphon tube triggers a siphon action
which pulls the softener and water into the washer. This siphon tube is probably blocked with crud. See if you can pull a small cap like part out of the softener dispenser area. Clean both the inside of the cap and the hole under it. This will allow the water to flow into washer instead of flooding.

Fon the dishwasher

Hi, welcome to Fixya.

Based on the info you've provided, the dishwasher is indicating a error during the "fill" stage, hence the "F" being displayed on the Bosch machines.

Here's how to perform a test or diagnostic...

Make sure the power button is in the off position ( open & closing of the door will activate the "auto shut off" ).

Once certain it is "off" press and hold both the regular button and rinse & hold button, then turn the unit "on" while continuing to depress those 2 buttons. Initially, control module version # will display ( i.e. "20" = version "0" without jumper...not important for this ).

When the buttons are now released, the lights above them will flash. To start testing, press both the "regular wash" and "rinse & hold" a second time.

Let the test follow through, ( grab a coffee and observe, this will take a while )

When testing has ended, the display will show an error using codes as follows...
"0" = no error.
"1" = aqua sensor fault.
"2" = heating fault.
"4" = filling fault. and finally.
"8" = NTC ( temperature sensor ) fault.

The "F" code will not appear in test mode, only during wash. If you have a failed level switch for instance the test will display "4" and will continually fill and drain and test won't complete until you press the "on/off" button.

If the test complete's without and error or won't fill, replace the water valve. Original part Part # 425458 at "searspartsdirect.com", "apwagner.com" or #1105846 at "repairclinic.com" ( they use there own numbers ) or you can check locally by your model number & serial number.

Let me know if I can assist you further. Hope you found this helpful and if so please allow for a positive rating.

Thank you for choosing "fixya" and good luck.

Miele Washer problem Novotronic Premier

Main wash light flashing is a heating fault. You either have a faulty temp sensor (NTC) or the pressure chamber has blocked and the heater element has popped.
